freeloader1969 ::: Favorites That's because there's no shields in the nebula! 07-07-23 14:03:03 _____________________________________________________
C12830772 ::: Favorites Khan had luck. Usually one or two photon torpedos can turn to dust a Miranda-class ship. 07-07-23 17:31:44 _____________________________________________________
loboguara1 ::: Favorites No, that's because this movie had a REAL director. Nicholas Meyer, who also directed VI. He's the only director to have spaceships visibly kick the crap out of each other (the through-saucer shot in VI) and keep flying. Which is better writing. 07-07-24 15:09:55 _____________________________________________________
C12830772 ::: Favorites Not all depends of the director, some writers/creation staff may have a role in all of this. But you are right, Nicholas Meyer was the only pro director employed by the Star Trek producers. Leonard Nimoy was partially successful in the following 2 movies, Billy Shatner performed like sh*t his director job, and Johnatan Frakes with his usual lack of competence. Perhaps JJ Abrams will be better, but I have a bad feeling about his involvement in Star Trek. 07-07-24 18:04:40 _____________________________________________________
Kreisel1975 ::: Favorites Where does the nebula go after khan sets the genesis torpedo? 07-07-26 01:45:14 _____________________________________________________
TheBCOwl ::: Favorites You haven't watched this film, have ya. Khan and his crew are dressed like a bad 80s metal band, there are no actual rockers in it! 'Twas a joke is all. :D 07-07-26 09:55:17 _____________________________________________________
desotowright ::: Favorites The reason it's the best of the series is because it wasn't like typical Star Trek stuff. I was dark, violent, and somewhat tragic. The only Trek film to have "thriller" as a genre keyword on internet movie database. 07-07-26 16:35:54 _____________________________________________________
C12830772 ::: Favorites The matter in the nebula is re-arranged into the shape of a class-M planet, the planet Genesis. But the matter lacked some strong chemical elements, able to support a stable planet core, so -as we can see in the next movie, Genesis will disintegrate. 07-07-27 13:05:22 _____________________________________________________
C12830772 ::: Favorites And the best Star Trek Movie. Clasified only by their quality: 1 ST II Wrath of Khan 2 ST III Search for Spock 3 ST First Contact 4 ST IV Voyage Home 5 ST VI Undiscovered Country 6 ST Generations 7 Star Trek -The Movie- 8 ST Insurrection 9 ST V Final Frontier 10 ST Nemesis -by far the worst 07-07-27 13:15:16 _____________________________________________________
Airportchris2 ::: Favorites Space suits would be for EVA type things. 07-07-30 20:57:23 _____________________________________________________ |
