DiscerningOne ::: Favorites I think the mother in the video acted horrendously, certainly not like one who believes in a biblical God. Throwing "fucking" around and emanating hostility and rejection is not what Christ teaches. If she did come to a realization of her own disbelief, it is because she had no true belief, not because the beliefs failed on their own lack of merit. And this is the case for many who apostatize. DiscerningOne ::: Favorites I agree with another that your thoughts are interesting. "With hell there can be no heaven": I find this illogical on several grounds. You're assuming that only the source of happiness can be the welfare of people you love, and there is no reason to accept this human-exalting philosophy. The logic is basically, if stuff happens that we don't like, then we can never be happy. True Christians live to please God alone and derive everything from God as source.
