sunflowercynic ::: Favorites 2007-10-06 15:13:58 I have a response as to the volume of the piece; I was a part of this group and this clip is from the very end. It's a little awkward without the gradual crescendo and just the ridiculous fortisimo at the end. Plus, I don't know how amazing the sound recording equipment on Kevin's videocamera is, but in the actual hall during the dinner, it sounded amazing. (but I will agree with you, Kelsey is a bit sharp on that one. She's actually an alto and may or may not have been overcompensating.) __________________________________________________
Gerardeus ::: Favorites 2007-10-05 03:37:51 Todo tan hermoso que se escuchaba, y tenía que arruinarlo todo la soprano... Gracias por tu aporte! __________________________________________________
torosax ::: Favorites 2007-08-30 06:34:27 sorry wasn't trying to be mean or anything, just offering a bit of constructive critisism... But on the other hand, I actually just noticed that you're from Illinois... I was in the Illinois State Madrigals Singers and performed this with them my freshman year back in the winter of '99... I think I'm officially getting old =o( __________________________________________________
torosax ::: Favorites 2007-08-30 06:29:20 Ouch... the soprano soloist was pushing almost a half step #... Personally I think it was alright but the soloists stuck out too much and, overall, it's just way too loud for the maturity of the ensemble __________________________________________________
MusicRockerChickadee ::: Favorites 2007-01-22 13:42:52 Hey what school do you go to.. Your Madrigal group is amazing.. wish my high school madrigals would have sounded like that __________________________________________________
baritenor07 ::: Favorites 2006-12-14 21:46:16 Sure-- Hebrew (Repeated throughout in different rythms): Lo V'Chayil v' lo v' choach. Kee im bruchee amar, Adonai ts' va oat. English (Also repeated throughout): Not by might, nor by power, But by my spirit, saith the lord of hosts. __________________________________________________
fatgirlgrobie ::: Favorites 2006-12-14 19:00:34 could you post the hebrew lyrics for me? __________________________________________________
KouklaK ::: Favorites 2006-12-14 11:42:35 Now this is what a high school Madrigal Ensemble should sound like! Reminds me of my old high school's Madrigals. Just heard another ME on YouTube and said, "Eek!" But you guys, you're awesome! Keep up the great work, Kevin. __________________________________________________ |
