What's even more absurd than these accusations is the fact that more than 50% of Democrats actually believe it! I mean trying to prove the Bush administration planned and carried out a conspiracy in less than 1 year of taking office to let known exact terrorist suspects that will hijack known exact aircrafts, and knowing that it will happen on an exact day. That itself is impossible.

The real truth is the Democrats are dead wrong. They will have you believe that the War on Terror is something that George W. Bush and his cronies just made up, out of the nothing. Though the candidates won't come out and say it but they will also have you believe that the 9/11 attack was a plan that George W. Bush conceived and plotted to ultimately invade Iraq and finish what his father couldn't do which was remove Saddam Hussein and steal oil.

With all that being said, Bush's only real conviction left is his stance on the War on Terror, in which he is right in but has had absolutely horrendous management (and still does). Much of the current problems in this war stems from trying to cater to the liberals who inherently think war only as a nasty, hellish affair that brings out the worst in people and such that cannot solve anything because it is evil.

The thing that has hurt Bush so much in his 2nd term was trying to cater to the liberals in every legislation he tries to pass. He has made absolutely no attempt to do anything he campaigned for in 2004. In all honesty, as a Moderate who has in the past few years voted Republican, Bush has been liberal in his 2nd term. Bush has completely alienated the Republican voter base and that is why the Republicans lost control of Congress.

Mike Gravel was right about American soldiers. They did die in vain in Vietnam and so are the American soldiers in Iraq. Neither Vietnam and Iraq are about freedom. Its all about bullshit politics.

I left the Biden's quote about the reality of leaving Iraq over a period of time and not immediately out of the video because he was correct, and this video accomanies an entry on my blog that corrects the mistakes in the video.

i wish i could make my decision, but they all seem to say what we want to hear now, but who knows what they will do in the future? after they make a point, they look at the audience for a reaction

general patrais himself has told bush iraq cannot be won militarily, and that he doesn't need to wait until september to say so. gen patrais is also the 3rd appointed general to lead our troops in this war. the first two told bush it can't be won too. bush want's a yes man, that is all. he want's his war. civilians trying to uphold this war just don't get it. they're willingly ignorant.

Gen. Petraeus said you cannot will in Iraq with the military alone. You need to have a political solution. That's true. But he said you can't get to a political solution without military force. Please don't put your words in a patriotic American's mouth.

schoonero is absolutely correct. thevillainm is twisting Petraeus' words. Without a military presence, there IS NO political solution. He's a counterinsugency expert; this isn't a matter of just killing all the bad guys. People need to work together through legislation to bring about unity.

I'm sick of the way the Democrats answer questions. Obama: "I was against the way from the start", that's an opinion not an answer, at the time he wasn't in a position to legislate, so his statement is irrelevant. The rest just blame Bush in stead of giving a solution. If they were the better candidate, they'd have an answer. Lord knows they've had plenty of time to come up with a solution. It should be a knee jerk reaction to that question by now.

Biden (and you apparently haaretz2) have no right to turn Iraq into anything at this point. It's a sovereign country. The surge is having a positive affect, as one can reasonably see if one looks past the media that cheers for democrats whose main mission is to defeat a President who isn't running in '08.

your vid left on biden. he is the only one with an answer, to turn the country in 3 with a very lose federal system where all three need to interact. so, the only one with an answer is left out of your video. nice.
